FAQs

Recommended dress for the general sessions and meals is business casual. Remember that meeting room temperatures are often quite cold at most hotels. You may want to bring a sweater or jacket so that you are comfortable. 

Packing list:

  • Business casual outfits for general sessions and meals

  • A sweater, blazer, or light jacket (meeting rooms can be chilly)

  • Comfortable shoes for walking between sessions and venues

  • A casual outfit for free time or travel

  • Outerwear suitable for late October in Ontario (coat, scarf, gloves—temperatures can be cool)

  • Notebook and pens (or digital device for notes)

  • Cancellations are available for refund with a $150 fee per registrant until Monday, August 17, 2026 (60 days prior to the conference). Due to financial commitments to the resort and our other conference vendors, cancellations, including those related to weather, health, or personal schedule changes, cannot be refunded after August 17, 2026. Tickets are transferable to another attendee or may be donated back to Generous Giving.
  • We do not accept rollover registrations for future conferences.
  • For ticket transfers/substitutions, please contact Rachelle Kallenbach at rachelle@generousgiving.org to update us with new attendee information.

All programming, materials, and meals are included in the registration fee. Guests are responsible for travel and lodging at the hotel.
